This panel will explore the unique strengths and challenges faced by neurodivergent women in the transportation industry, a sector historically dominated by conventional thinking and practices. Participants will discuss how traits such as pattern recognition, creative problem-solving, and an ability to focus intensely can provide neurodivergent women with a distinct advantage in roles ranging from planning to engineering and beyond. Through shared experiences and insights, this panel aims to highlight the untapped power of neurodivergent women and offer strategies to foster a more dynamic, innovative, and collaborative transportation workforce.
