WALT DISNEY FAMILY MUSEUM

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

Located in the Presidio of San Francisco, this preservation project consisted of converting a 45,000 square foot barrack into what now houses the Disney Family Museum. New additions include a grand spiraling ramp and a 20,000 square foot pavilion. The museum houses family memorabilia and includes exhibits throughout the campus celebrating the life and achievements of Walt Disney.

  • Utilized a multi-disciplined resident inspector to perform all aspects of quality control.
  • Incorporated ground penetrating radar as a means of locating areas for penetrations.
  • Worked closely with the structural engineer of record and general contractor to facilitate problem resolutions.
