Since 1995, Atlas has continually qualified as a contract holder with the SCA Environmental Health and Safety Division (SCA). Under this contract Atlas manages almost 250 work order assignments annually in support of environmental health and safety for over 1,500 schools and administrative facilities. In support of this contract, we provide planned and emergency response services involving asbestos and hazardous contaminants in school facilities and offices as they are affected by construction activities for modernization, renovation, life safety upgrades and demolition construction activities. Additionally, we provide day-to-day regulatory compliance, operations, and maintenance for occupied schools. Atlas is fully staffed to provide all project management, field personnel, CADD engineers, and laboratory analysts to cover all work orders in-house. Our professionals carry extensive experience and are routinely requested as experts for regulatory changes. In an effort to be proactive to their constituency, the SCA requested Atlas to manage a water sampling program for schools. We were able to staff and provide drinking water assessments in over 230 schools in 90 days.
